Crumpdate!

Over Labor Day weekend, Crumpet went home with a wonderful couple and their cat, Tyson.  Tyson was picked up as a stray, neutered, and taken in as a pet.  He was not the nicest kittie when they first found him, but they loved him and he grew to love them too.  They knew it could take some time.  They saw Crumpet online and were moved by her biography so they came out to meet her and they took her home the same day.  As long as Crumpet and Tyson get along, Crumpet will have a home for life and so far so good.

She is bonding very quickly with the people and slept in bed with them last night.  Her and Tyson have been doing well too.  They sniffed under a door for the first day but since then they have been out with each other.  Crumpet does hiss when he comes too close, but he understands and walks away.  Crumpet always takes a little bit of time to adjust to new kitties.  She has to develop trust with them before she cuddles with them.  Can you blame her?!  The couple understands this and is happy with how well things are going so far.

 

We are really excited for her and hopeful that this will be her last stop, that she will have found her forever family.
